Oak and Nell is inspired with the understanding that creativity is a journey which can be found a variety of forms. Recognizing that an object is formed by the hands of the story teller/creator, I could see these stories woven into pieces created by the hands of my Dad as a welder or my Grandma's hands (the Nell of the shop name) as a creator of quilts, knitting, and embroidery.

Oak and Nell is a venture to pursue creativity recognizing that the journey is not about the pursuit of perfection. With a leaning toward simple materials, simple lines and a quiet understatedness that shares a story and hopefully can help you share your story as well.
